Tally runs on your local computer, so our team helps you set up a secure connection. Takes about 15 minutes with our support. After that, ShelfSense reads your data automatically every day.
Is my data safe?
ShelfSense only reads your inventory data. It never modifies your system — it recommends, you decide. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never share your data with anyone.
How is this different from ShelfLifePro?
ShelfLifePro is a complete inventory management system — POS, batch tracking, GRN, GST compliance. ShelfSense is an AI intelligence layer that works on top of any system, including ShelfLifePro. Can I use ShelfLifePro and ShelfSense together?
Yes — and that is the best experience. ShelfLifePro provides batch-level data (individual batch expiry dates, lot numbers) that systems like Tally and Zoho do not expose through their APIs. ShelfSense gives deeper, more accurate recommendations when connected to ShelfLifePro.
What if I use a system you do not support?
Export your inventory as a CSV file and upload it. ShelfSense handles most formats automatically. We are also adding new integrations regularly — tell us what system you use and we will prioritize it.
Can ShelfSense detect theft or stock errors?
Yes. ShelfSense compares expected stock (based on purchases and sales) against actual stock. If 200 units went in but only 40 sold and you have 120 left, ShelfSense flags the 40-unit gap. This catches receiving errors, data entry mistakes, and shrinkage.
